In my early 20s I worked as a production assistant and set dresser on movies and commercials. While on a production out at the Nike campus I was struck by the comedic potential of the reserved parking spaces for each and every athlete they have ever sponsored. I mean, how often does Rollie Fingers roll into town to use his space?

Shortly thereafter the idea for a film series about a fledgling sports memorabilia website was born. CEO Bob Swanson and Vice-President in training Kenny Washankowski eventually taught a community class, traveled to Sundance, and almost became the stars of a Ben Stiller film.
